Every week/month, a lot of resources are spent creating social media reports. The time and effort could be better used for data analysis, insight discovery, conclusions, and recommendations. With LiveDune, you can create any report in just 5–10 minutes without compromising quality.

On our platform, you can easily customize the report to your needs. For example, you can hide unnecessary slides, add comments, or incorporate your brand's colors and logo into the header.

For which social networks can you create and download a PDF report?

  • Instagram*

  • VKontakte

  • Telegram

  • Facebook*

  • Tik-Tok

  • YouTube

How to download a report

To include all the necessary account data in the report, the account must be continuously monitored by LiveDune (added to the Dashboard). Otherwise, statistics for the account will not be collected, and part of the data will be missing when you generate the report.

To download the report, go to the required account on the Dashboard and click on the icon with a downward arrow. Hover over the PDF report and click "Download." A PDF report will open in a new browser window.

After clicking Download, you will be taken to the report page, where you can "Create a Template" or download the report with the current settings.

If necessary, you can change the report name, select the period, and choose the grouping (by days, weeks, months, or quarters). Then click "Download as PDF" at the bottom left of the page.

If you need to modify the report's visuals (add the client's company logo, change the cover, font, or text color) or adjust the order of the report pages by hiding some — you need to create a report template.

Creating a template

The convenience of templates is that you can set up a custom report with individual formatting, positioning, or hiding specific slides for each client and save it. This means you no longer need to waste time performing repetitive tasks every week or month. Simply select a pre-made template, choose the reporting period — and everything is ready for download and presentation to the client or manager.

To create a template, click the "Create Template" button.

After clicking "Create Template," you will enter the Template Creation module.

At the template creation stage, you can change:

  • Main page design (template name, logo, text and background color, add a background image).

  • Add a name, such as "Account Dynamics Report @brand." Attach the company logo for which the report is created. Choose a text color for the title and a background color. Instead of a solid background, you can insert an image, such as a pattern from the client's brand book or your agency’s logo. If you want to cancel the settings, click "Restore" to revert to the default view.

  • Report page design

  • Adjust the text and background color of the footer for all report pages. Choose a font (currently, there are 3 available). If you want to cancel the settings, click "Restore" to revert to the original look.

  • Report settings

  • In the "Advanced" section, choose whether to display labels under graphs. Add comments if needed. For example, add conclusions or plans for the next period. If you want to hide a report slide, click the crossed-out eye icon. To rearrange slides, use the up/down arrow in the top right corner of the report page.

Once the report template is created, it is saved in the Template Gallery. It can be opened with this button:

This section consists of a list of templates created in the account:

Editing a template

When opening a template, quick editing mode is available, where you can change:

  • Report period

  • Grouping: by months, weeks, days, or quarters.

In this menu block, you will see the main set report design settings:

  • Main page text and background color.

  • Footer text and background color.

  • Report font.

To change the design settings, you need to enter advanced editing mode. To do this, click the pencil icon "Edit Template."

In this mode, you can change:

  • Template name

  • Attach files with the organization’s logo/background image.

  • Select report font.

  • Text and background colors.

  • Footer text and background color.

  • Add labels to graphs.

  • Add comments.

Delete template - by clicking on the trash icon.

How to hide a report page

Each report page (except the main one) has a crossed-out eye icon in the top right corner. Clicking it will hide that page in the report.

This may be useful if certain report pages are unnecessary. Page numbering will remain intact, as if the hidden page doesn’t exist.

At any time, you can bring the page back. To do this, click "+" at the top of the page and select the slide you want to restore from the opened window.

Here you will see all the pages you’ve hidden, with the graph's name.

How to move a page

You can rearrange report pages as needed. To do this, move the pages up or down using the arrows in the top right corner of the pages.

Once all template settings are complete, click "Save." To download the generated report, click "Download as PDF." If you want to make changes to the template, click the pencil icon next to the report name.
