LiveDune works with social networks exclusively officially, through the official API.
Unfortunately, some functions are still unavailable through the API, and therefore we cannot add them to LiveDune.
After connecting an account for Direct or Comments monitoring, message history/old comments will not be available.
Only new messages and comments sent after connecting Monitoring in LiveDune will be displayed. Messages received prior to enabling message monitoring will not be fetched.
Supported Social Networks
You can process comments and messages from Instagram, VKontakte, Facebook.
Comment export is available for your accounts on Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte and YouTube
Comments can be exported only for individual posts

Dialog Display
In the Monitoring section, there is a limitation on dialog display - it is 100 dialogs for each social network. For example, if you have VK and IG connected, a total of 200 dialogs will be displayed in this section, and so on. The limitation applies to both sections - for Posts and Direct.
If a specific dialog is needed, you can use user/text search.
If you need to view more, you must process open comments and messages, then new ones will appear.
Comment Limitations
If a post has more than 1000 comments, they can only be processed through comment export.
Monitoring, unfortunately, cannot handle such a large number of comments.
Instagram Limitations*
Instagram has certain rules for working with comments and messages
Avoid using the same response for multiple comments or messages - this can be considered an "automated" response
The same comment (including emojis) cannot be posted multiple times.
Avoid using very short responses or responses consisting only of emojis
You can add no more than 5 mentions with the @ symbol in one comment.
You can add no more than 30 hashtags in one comment.
Instagram limits the sending of Direct messages over time. Their restriction article recommends sending messages at 10-minute intervals.
Direct dialogues become inactive for message writing after 7 days from the last message (the message input field disappears). This restriction is imposed by Instagram itself. It protects users from spam mailings.
Disappearing messages in Direct (vanish mode) are not visible in Monitoring. Instagram does not provide them to us.
If you send the first message to a person in Instagram, their nickname will appear in Monitoring as “Name not specified”. The name will appear in the dialogue when the interlocutor responds. If the dialogue was started by the account monitored, we cannot fetch data about the interlocutor until they send at least one message.
If you read a message on Instagram but do not respond, it will remain unread in open dialogues on the service
If you close a message in LiveDune, nothing will change in Instagram.
If the interlocutor cancels the sending of a message, the message will disappear, and a notification “Unsupported message type” will appear.
You can like messages, but to like comments you need to click on the time of the comment, which will take you to the comment, and you can like it there.
We also want to draw your attention to the fact that using automated services is prohibited by Instagram rules. This can lead to blocking the addition of new comments and replies in Direct through LiveDune.
This can happen after sending a large number of identical or very short comments, actively liking in a short period, or receiving enough complaints from users about your comments or posts.
VKontakte Limitations
For VKontakte, we receive comments for:
posts
discussions. But you cannot reply to such comments. It will appear in the service, but replying will cause an error. This happens due to VK restrictions.
photos. If the photo is on the wall, but the comment is placed under the photo itself, you cannot reply to such a comment.
videos
goods
If you have sent a message distribution in VK, these messages from the distribution appear in the service because these dialogues are in the account. You can simply close them, and they will disappear, moving to the Closed Dialogues folder
To close all unread messages with one button. Click on the 3 dots in Direct and press the "Close all comments" button.
Comment Export
The number of exported comments may differ from the total number of comments under a post. The reason may be deleted, hidden, or marked as spam comments, as well as from users who were blocked, deleted, or have a private account.
For example, if a user posts the same comment many times at minimal intervals, Instagram may recognize these comments as spam and hence do not provide them to us.
