How to Add Instagram as Your Own Account
You can add Instagram as your own account, with extended statistics, only through Facebook. We operate officially, and the official connection method is through Facebook.
Without Facebook, you can add it as a third-party account, but there will be fewer statistics, and the modules for autoposting and monitoring will not be available.
Instagram Account Requirements
To add Instagram as your own account:
The account must be a Business or Creator account. Personal and private accounts cannot be tracked on the service.
Instagram must be linked to a Facebook Business Page (community).
Open the Instagram app on your smartphone. Click "Edit Profile" or "Edit," and scroll down to the “Public Business Information” section.
In the “Page” field, the name of the linked Facebook Business Page should be displayed, as shown in the screenshot below:
You must have permissions for this Facebook Business Page.
To use all service modules (autoposting, managing comments and messages), you need Editor/Administrator rights.
To view extended statistics only, the Analyst role is sufficient.
The connection to the service happens through integration with your personal Facebook account, which has the necessary management permissions.
If nothing is selected in the “Page” field, click on it and choose the Facebook Business Page, or create a new one if necessary.
Connecting an Instagram Account
If all conditions are met, click the + icon in the top-right corner, then select "Add Your Own Account" and click the Instagram icon:
Don't forget to enable your VPN. To add accounts from blocked social networks, a VPN must be used.
After this, you will be redirected to Facebook, where you will be asked to log in with your personal Facebook account that is currently authorized in this browser. You can see which personal Facebook account you are logged into under the "Continue as" button and at the top of the page.
Note that you can only add Instagram accounts that are set as Business or Creator accounts. Personal accounts cannot be added.
If the correct personal Facebook account is displayed, and you have the necessary permissions for the Facebook Business Page linked to your Instagram, click the "Continue as" button:
After this, you will be redirected back to LiveDune, where you need to select the specific accounts you want to see on your Dashboard:
Activate the toggle next to the accounts you need, setting it to blue.
The toggles next to the desired accounts should be blue, not gray. Then, click the blue "Add Accounts" button:
Done! Your Instagram* account has been added to your Dashboard.
