Stories

This tab provides statistics on the Stories published in your account.

These data are available for your Instagram accounts and start collecting once the account is added to the Dashboard with an active subscription.

If the connection with the account is interrupted or access is provided incorrectly, Stories data will not be collected. It is impossible to restore data for the period when there was no connection. This is a feature of this type of content. Social networks transmit the last information about Stories at the end of the day and do not store this information. Information will only be displayed for new Stories published after reconnecting the account.

Widgets

The widgets display general data on Stories.

  • Views – the total number of views of Stories published during the selected period.

  • Views (Avg) – the average number of views of Stories published during the selected period.

  • Reach – the total reach of Stories published during the selected period.

  • Reach (Avg) – the average reach of Stories published during the selected period.

  • Period Comparison – shows changes in metrics compared to the previous period of the same length.

Stories Table

The table displays a list of all Stories published during the selected period. You can rank the top Stories by categories, type, and various metrics.

The table contains various metrics and indicators. By clicking on them, you can sort the posts in ascending or descending order and set value ranges.

The set of metrics in the table depends on the social network.

General Metrics:

  • Category – click "Add category" to assess the effectiveness of the content published in the account.

  • Type – Story types for VKontakte: images and videos; for Instagram: images, videos, reposts.

Stories of the "Repost" type are uploaded to the service 24 hours after publication and without a preview. Stories available only to the "Close Friends" list and Stories published when the account connection was interrupted are also considered in this type.

  • Views – the total number of views of your Stories.

  • Responses – the number of replies to your Stories.

Additional Metrics for Instagram:

  • Reach – the number of unique users who viewed your Stories at least once.

  • RR (Reach Rate) – the ratio of Story reach to account followers.

  • Backward Taps – the number of times users tapped back to rewatch a previous Story.

  • Forward Taps – the number of times users tapped forward to skip to the next Story before it ended (less than 15 seconds).

  • Exits – the number of times users exited Stories by clicking the "X" in the upper right corner.

  • Completion Rate – the percentage of users who watched the Story from start to finish.

Completion rate is calculated using the formula:
Views – (Forward Taps + Exits) / Views
If the total of "Forward Taps" and "Exits" exceeds Views, the completion rate will be 0.

  • Data on stickers, Instagram reactions, link clicks in Stories, and reposts are not available through Instagram's official API.

  • New Followers – the number of accounts that followed your account.

  • Account Actions – the number of actions people take when visiting your profile after viewing your Story (profile visits, website clicks, call button clicks, email button clicks, and text message button clicks).

  • Profile Visits – the number of visits to your account after viewing the Story.

  • Reposts – the number of times your Story was reposted.

  • Responses – the number of replies to your Story.
