How to Create a Post in Auto-posting
The post creation button is available in all sections of the Auto-posting module. It is located in the upper-right corner:
Если кликнуть на стрелку, появится выпадающий список с предлагаемыми вариантами.
If you click on the arrow, a dropdown list with available options will appear.
LiveDune Auto-posting has multi-posting functionality, allowing you to plan publications in multiple social networks with different content from a single window. This helps save resources and increase efficiency.
The work is done in the "Original" tab, which contains the source content. Then, for each social network, you can:
Choose your own media files (rearrange, delete, or add something)
Edit the text
Add a link
Choose a unique publishing time
The publication planning process consists of 4 steps:
Step 1. Choosing Accounts
If you made a mistake on the calendar screen and selected the wrong accounts, you can change the selection in the planning window.
Check the active accounts above the media upload section. If there is an unnecessary account, click on it, and it will become inactive—gray, meaning the content will not be published to it.
If you need to add an inactive account, click on it, and it will turn colorful from gray.
Colorful icons — content will be planned for these accounts.
Gray icons — content will not be published to these accounts.
Step 2. Uploading Media Files
Click on the media upload area to select the desired photo/video. Or, choose files on your computer and drag them (not available on the mobile version).
Technical requirements for files are detailed [here].
If you need to edit an image, add filters, or perform color correction, you can use the built-in photo editor. To do this, hover over the image and click on the pencil icon.
Crop the images (each photo can be cropped independently).
If you need to change the order of the media files, simply drag them.
To delete a file, click on the cross in the upper-right corner of the photo/video.
For videos, you can choose a thumbnail by clicking on the pencil icon and scrolling to the desired frame. Cover selection is available for posts in Reels format.
If necessary, switch from the "Original" tab and change the set of files or their order for each account.
A post preview will be available on the right (desktop only), and for Instagram, there is also a grid view. These tools allow you to see how the post will look in the feed before publishing.
Currently, all single videos on Instagram are published as Reels.
You cannot select a cover for regular Instagram videos.
If you need to choose a cover, plan the post as a Reel and enable the "Add to Profile Grid" toggle.
Step 3. Working with Text
Add text to the post along with emojis. In the upper part of the text field, there are formatting tools (available for Telegram only).
At the bottom of the text field, you will find the following icons:
Emoji icon — allows you to select emojis.
"T" — typography tool that changes hyphens into dashes and straight quotes into curly ones.
"#" — shows the maximum number of hashtags allowed for the selected social network.
AI Assistant — an AI tool that can generate post text or gather content ideas for you. It's a convenient way to save time on research and structuring. All you need to do is adjust the text, and the post is ready.
The request counter updates daily, giving you 30 requests per day on any plan.
Social network icon — counts the number of characters entered (each social network has its own limit).
Hashtag icon — counts the number of hashtags entered (each social network has its own limit).
Additionally, there are text templates for use in posts:
With templates, you can, for example, insert a fixed set of hashtags or pre-written text.
If necessary, switch from the "General Version" tab and edit the text for each account.
Step 4. Post Settings
If needed, write the first comment, such as adding hashtags (not available for Telegram).
Specify the location (available for Instagram only).
For VK, you can add a poll if necessary.
For VK, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, you can add a link (snippet). The link should start with https:// or http://.
A snippet is a part of the website's content that appears in the social network when a link to that resource is published.
For convenience, add categories.
For VK, you can also add a poll.
If you want to publish the post immediately, click "Publish Now."
If you need to schedule it, select the desired date and time, and click "Schedule Post."
LiveDune will also suggest the best time to publish based on data from your account.
Next, set the date and time for publishing and click "Schedule Post":
After that, the post will appear in the post grid, in the Calendar, and the Feed:
If the post doesn't appear in the calendar, check if the account is active in the top menu of the calendar.
Active accounts are marked with a blue stripe under the icons.
You can edit the post before publishing, duplicate it, or delete it. To do this, hover over the post.
Please note that scheduled posts can be deleted for one or several social networks only.
This might be useful, for example, if you decide not to publish the post on VK but still want to keep it scheduled for Instagram.
If you want to return to editing the post later, click "Save as Draft." This will move the post to the "Draft" section:
Later, you can also edit, schedule, duplicate, or delete the post.
After publication, you can review post statistics in the "Feed" tab. To do this, hover over the desired post and click on the graph icon "View Statistics."
Clicking the button below will take you directly to the post in the social network.
The third button allows you to duplicate the post and schedule it again.
