How to create a post in Auto Posting

The post creation button is available in all sections of the Auto Posting module. It is located in the upper right corner

If you click on the arrow, a dropdown menu with suggested options will appear.

LiveDune Auto Posting offers multiposting – the ability to plan publications for several social networks simultaneously with different content in one window, which helps save resources and increases efficiency.

Work starts in the "Original" tab, which is the original content. Then, for each social network, you can:

  • select your own media files (rearrange, delete, or add something);

  • adjust the text;

  • add a link;

  • choose a unique publication time.

The process of planning a post consists of 4 steps:

Step 1: Selecting accounts

If you make a mistake on the calendar screen and choose the wrong accounts, you can change the selection in the planning window.

Above the media upload section, check the active accounts. If one is extra, click on it and it will become inactive—gray, meaning content will not be published to it.

If, on the contrary, you need to add an inactive account, click on it, and it will turn from gray to colored.

  • Colored icons – content will be scheduled for these accounts.

  • Gray icons – content will not be published in these accounts.

Step 2: Uploading media files

Click on the media upload area to select the desired photo/video. Or select files on your computer and drag them (not available from the mobile version).

Technical requirements for files are described in detail here.

If you need to edit the image, add filters, or do color correction, you can use the built-in photo editor. To do this, hover over the image and click on the pencil icon. Crop images (each photo can be cropped independently of the other). If you need to change the order of the media files, simply drag them.

To delete a file, click the cross in the upper corner of the photo/video. For videos, you can select a still frame by clicking on the pencil icon and scrolling through the video to the desired moment. Selecting a cover is available for Reels posts. If necessary, switch from the "Original" tab and change the set of files or their order for each account.

On the right, the post preview will be available (on desktop only), and for Instagram, the grid is also shown. With their help, you can see how the post will look in the feed before publication.

Currently, all single videos in Instagram are published as Reels.

For regular videos on Instagram, you cannot select a cover.

If you need to choose a cover, you must plan the post as a Reel and enable the toggle "Add to profile grid."

Step 3: Working with text

Add text to the post and emojis. At the top of the field, there are text formatting tools, available only for Telegram.

At the bottom of the text field, the following symbols are present:

  • Emoji icon — the ability to choose emojis.

  • T — a typography tool that converts hyphens into dashes and straight quotes into curly quotes.

  • # — the maximum number of hashtags that can be added to the post for the selected social network.

  • AI Assistant — an AI that writes the post text or generates content ideas for you. A convenient tool that helps save time on research and structuring information. All you need to do is adjust the text, and the post is ready.

  • The request counter is updated every day, giving 30 requests per day on any plan.

  • Social network icon — counts the number of characters entered (each social network has its own limit).

  • Hashtag icon — counts the number of hashtags entered (each social network has its own limit).

If necessary, switch from the "Original" tab and edit the text in each account.

Step 4: Post settings

If necessary, write the first comment, for example, by adding hashtags (not available for Telegram). Specify the location (available only for Instagram).

For VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, you can add a poll if needed. For VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Facebook, you can add a link (snippet). The link must begin with https:// or http://.

A snippet is a part of a webpage’s content that is displayed on the social network if a link to that resource is published.

For convenience, add categories. In VKontakte, you can also add a poll.

If you want to publish the post immediately, click "Publish now." If you need to schedule it, select the desired date and time and click "Schedule post." LiveDune will also suggest the best time to post based on your account data.

Next, set the date and time for publication and click the "Schedule post" button:

After that, the post will appear in the post grid, Calendar, and Feed

If the post does not appear in the calendar, check if this account is active in the top menu of the calendar.

Active accounts are marked with a blue stripe under the icons.

You can edit the post before publication, as well as duplicate or delete it. To do this, hover over the post.

Note that it is possible to delete a scheduled post only for one or several social networks.

This may be useful, for example, if you decide not to publish the post on VK but still want to keep the scheduled post for Instagram.

If you want to return to editing the post later, click the "Draft" button. The post will be moved to the "Draft" section

Later, you can also edit and schedule this post, duplicate it, or delete it completely.

After publishing, on the "Feed" tab, you will be able to review the post statistics. To do this, hover over the desired post and click on the "View statistics" graph icon.

Clicking the button below will take you to the post directly on the social network. The third button will allow you to duplicate the post and schedule it again.
